today i went to the zoo to sketch. i mostly focused on the animals and basically spent the entire day there. it was fantastic. i started out with a new sketchbook and by the end of the day, over half of it was full. here are some of the best:

Good for you. I'm glad you took the initiative and headed out there.
Non-people animals make wonderful subjects.
Don't forget to apply the same approach - provide some of their surroundings.
The line is nice and loose - don't be hesitant to develop some of these more - perhaps add an indication of light source.
