Bekah,
The top two drawings are the strongest, to me. I like the gesture in the third one, as well, but you're investigating more in the top two.
Once you establish the pose and the composition (by integrating the environments) start working more detail into these... especially facial, hand and clothing detail.
In the first drawing, grounding the chair would help establish a better sense of space with the seated figure.
Think about the different levels of definition in your drawings to establish depth ( is there a lighter definition in the floor you could add; is there a shape in the background to help create depth... that sort of thing)
